within the cell, so it helps to distinguish stem cells from others as well as
continuous image monitoring of stem cells.

February 2, 2007, in Dubai, U.A.E.

KOMA's pre-cast gel facility was expanded, so various kinds of mini pre-cast gel
such as EzWay-PAG, Tris-Glycine, Tricine gels for protein separation are
available in production.

2007 KOMA catalog is available in a printed version as well.

Dec 2006 KOMA was approved as an Inno-Biz (a compound of "Innovation" and
"Business") Company by the Korean government. Inno-Biz is a certificate
system given to a company which has a potential competitiveness in
technology and innovation.

Also, KOMA received another one-year extended approval from the Korean
government to pursue its bioventure technologies.

for 2 years.

Jul 2006 KOMA released upgraded ELISA kits named pink-ONE ELISA kits which contain one-step prestained TMB as a substrate. It is conveneint for tracking reagent
addition during pipetting of TMB.

Also, the unique Protein elution kit was developed. Unlike the conventional eletro-elution method, this system helps protein elution from SDS-PAGE gels using a simple device only.

Apr 2006 Development of Human Papiloma Virus (HPV) detection and semi-quantitative Kit with multiplex liquid assay system :
The project will be partially supported from small and medium business administration of Korea for two years. Medical college of Catholic Univ. Seoul, Korea and Samil Pharm. Seoul, Korea are our partner for this project.
The targets will be the high risk types in population, regardless of disease status.

Apr 2006 KOMA attended the trade exhibition of 2006 AACR that was held on April 1-5,
2006, in Washington DC, USA.

Feb 2006 The electrophoresis kit was newly released. The EzCell and EzBlot were designed specifically for mini-gel electrophoresis. This system is very convenient and simple to set up and run gels. KOMA Pre-cast gels can be used in the EzCell unit, also other gels such as the Invitrogen and Novex gels
(10cm x 10cm) are compatible with this system.

Sep 2005

KOMA has developed and launched EzWay DNA methylation detection kit and Ezway PCR cloning kit in September. EzWay DNA methylation detection kit can be used for MSP (methylation specific PCR), methylation detection DNA chip, COBRA (combined bisulfite restriction assay), Methylate and Bisulfite sequencing.Ezway PCR cloning kit is good for direct cloning of PCR products. The multiple cloning site is flanked by restriction EcoRI and BstXI restriction enzyme sites, allowing two options for removal of the insert with a single digest. Ampicilin and Kanamycin resistance genes are included.
